Goodmorning, the correct name convenction for scan a video library is:
filmname (years).mkv
I want use this:
(years) filmname.mkv
But wit this the library cannot detected correctly the info from imdb.
There is some addon or setting that can help me?

I believe this topic has been discussed at one point in the not too distant past. Naming video files/Movies (wiki) and the user was additament that his naming scheme was the best. I think from what I can remember advancedsettings.xml (wiki) reg edit is possible to exclude the data, but without the date; the match on a scrape would be quite low (too many movies have the same name over time). I would recommend either trying to dig up that thread (it did go for quite a few posts) or set-up a batch renaming scheme (if I remember correctly, some of the rename software had this capability). Just for your own interest, Kodi can slice & dice by date regardless.
