Is there a way to add manually thumbs to recorded shows - Vlaves - 2017-01-21

Hello together,

I hope someone has an idea, how it would be possible to add a thumb (even manually) to tvheadend recordings, so they can be displayed in Kodi?
As far as I understand, Kodi is only displaying information which are delivered by tvheadend and tvheadend is not delivering thumbs, is that correct?
So maybe then it could be implemented in the Skin itself to display a thumb from a file of the recordings path or something similar.

If anyone has an idea how that can be done it would be great Smile

My TVH setup seems to allow thumbs for most recordings, and it allows you to manually add an image through the context menu in Kodi. Is your TVH client up to date?

I'd like to do this as well but can't seem to locate where to do it in either my TVH setup or in Kodi itself.

I have tried to locate it in the following but can't seem to find it:
  • HTS Tvheadend 4.0.9 ~ LibreELEC Tvh-addon v7.0.101
  • HTS Tvheadend 4.1.2415 ~ LibreELEC Tvh-addon v8.1.109

I go into the Digital Video Recorder tab >> Finished Recordings tab and then clicking on the Info icon but can't seem to locate anywhere to add an image.

I have also looked in both Kodi 16.1 and 17.0 but can't find a way to set an image to a recording.

I have multiple clients and would ultimately like it set in TVH so all of my clients pick it up instead of having to set it for each individual client.

I just wanted to double check to see if anyone has been able to get thumbnails to work for recordings in TVH or if it's even possible.
