RED MUTE SYMBOL (TV) - KISMET - 2017-01-21
hi. i got a tv android box recently. A red mute symbol appeared on right top corner of tv and i have lost sound. I have tried the volume buttons and mute button , it is still there and no sound. PLEASE ADVICE
i was reading on a different thread (different system) that pressing F8 does the trick, unfortnately i have a remote with no F8

Plug a USB keyboard into the box and press F8 on that.
Or alternatively play something, activate the on-screen display then go to settings (the cog icon), then audio & subtitle settings and change the volume there.
You've activated the mute on Kodi, not on your TV which I suspect are the buttons you're pressing.
