Want to help with Kodi development... - geoffreyspencer - 2017-02-26

Hello,

I am a software engineer with over 20 years of experience mostly on the web and Windows in multiple languages. I want to help on the Apple side of things, macOS, iOS and tvOS.

I have been using Kodi for a while now and I love the overall application (Mac) or app (iOS).

I found the source files for macOS and iOS but I could not find the source files for the tvOS. Where do I find them? There is nothing in the README on this topic...I think.

I hope I can contribute to the team.

Tvos is no official port. The code is maintained in my own repo atm (which is mentioned btw in the sticky core testing thread for atv4 Wink ) - https://github.com/memphiz/xbmc/tree/yab (note the branch "yab")

I could need any help i can get for those platforms as i am busy in real live more than i like currently Wink

Hi.

I know what you mean. I am quite busy too. Once I understand the coding I can help you with this. Maybe one day Kodi will accept this as official and add it to the downloadable section for others to use.
