Hi There!
I think this might be a dumb question, but here goes!
I just upgraded to the latest version of Kodi (17) and in the Video -> Files section, the UI no longer displays thumbnails as an option. Thumbnails are displayed for individual files, but not for the complete directory listing.
Is there a skin that will do this. I imagine that this is not a skin function, but I now realize how great that feature was, I thought I would ask.

You can install the Old Skin Confluence in KODI 17 which brings these things back
