It's still not working for the KODI v18 (as I wrote earlier), now even with a startup error.I have verti 4.21 from a test repository.

It has nothing to do with Kodi 18, you have something messed up. Your lat/lon is wrong Smile Can you please post the output of this:

Thanx

Hi Lanik
First of all thanks for your hard work. I have been enjoying yeemee for a couple of months now.

1 small problem - it suddenly stopped working today, and nothing has updated as far as I know.
Kodi log is here - https://pastebin.com/n3cs05VK

I'd appreciate if you could spare some time to point me in the right direction when you have some time.

Thank you.

And this affects the operation of Yeelight for KODI?

EDIT:
So, at least I stepped forward, for another reason I gave back LibreElec 8.2.2.3 for S912 Amlogic. After installing the add-in, and either version 4.2 or 4.21 immediately reports an error, the same thing after rebooting KODI. I do not know how, but after one setting, Yeelight worked at the startup / shutdown of the movie, after restarting KODI no longer, it will only help uninstall the add-on, then re-install the add-on, find Yeelight, and then perhaps light will go at least at the start of the movie.

Don;t think this is going to work .. i'll see if it goes on my rpi3 setup.
 Why not? Smile
I don't seem to be getting any other errors apart from the date error.

Hold on, this is os independent and kodi version independent error, due to your location... My addon needs your location, in order to find the sunset/sunrise times, and seems your location is 49 without decimal point, and that crashes the addon. We'll fix that, just patience Smile

RE: YeeMee - (Control Yeelight Smart Bulb + Ambi from Kodi) - User 325245 - 2018-01-17

TEST repo:

please everyone with location/sunset-sunrise problems, try this version:

v4.22
- Added ceiling4 (Yeelight JIAOYUE 650) lamp
- Rare Libreelec Linux time format bug fix
- Rare lat-lng bug fixed
- Get sunset-sunrise rare bug fixed

RE: YeeMee - (Control Yeelight Smart Bulb + Ambi from Kodi) - vosay - 2018-01-18

Thanks so much, for your time and interestWink

The plugin now does not report the error, but it only works when Yeelight is turned on at the beginning / end of the movies (I have only set this up yet). Ambi I also have direct stripes (bulb) switched on, but only one color is set, which is set. I do not know if there is a problem with the add-on or I have something wrong set up, but I do not think so.

RE: YeeMee - (Control Yeelight Smart Bulb + Ambi from Kodi) - User 325245 - 2018-01-18

OK, now we know the addon is not crashing because of date/location error. Please send the log once again to see what is happening with ambi.

Also, try the render capture debug. if it produces only black images, then it is a problem with your hardware which doesn't work with kodi's internal render capture function - then nothing I can do about it since addon uses this function.

RE: YeeMee - (Control Yeelight Smart Bulb + Ambi from Kodi) - Bengelmeister - 2018-01-19

I have the same Problem.
My Yeelight Light strip does only show one color, but the ambi function does not work.
Can someone show the settings you have to make, to get this working?

Thanks a lot for this great addon btw, is really great when it works.

Best

Hello, still the same, just one color. I use mainly stripes and have a "full screen".

OK, now everything seems ok, no crashes, the stip is going into music mode and connecting to the server, as can be seen from the log:

The only explanation is that RenderCapture is not working. but let's check this too. As I wrote before, turn on RenderCapture debug and see if the files are created in the temp folder. These files should be CAPTURED screenshots of the movie played. Just open them and you will see either black/white pictures or the actual screens from your played movie.
