Custom Submenu Backgrounds - mainefungi - 2017-05-01
Hey there,
I am running Version 5.0.0 on Kodi 17, with Skin Script 1.1.2.
No matter what I choose for a background for my Custome Submenu options, it still shows the default.jpg background. I can see that it adds a path to the file in settings.xml, but the link to it seems to be broken in the custom submenu xml.
Any thoughts?

The backgrounds in the custom options/submenu/etc. are only used as background in the Home Menu when the custom option is highlighted. The custom background was never intended to be used after the custom option was selected. So it is not really broken because it was never intended to work the way you assumed it would work.
Obviously your assumption is a logical one, so I'll change this behaviour for the custom submenu. In the next Revolve (version 6.0.0 for Kodi Leia), the custom submenu will display the custom background.
