Proud to announce the beta release of Horizon, a skin for Kodi Krypton 17 by jurialmunkey and Swageroni_
Everything should work properly. However, this is a beta release so expect bugs and also changes as skin development progresses.
Please report any bugs you encounter.

Instructions: Follow the github link above to go to the github page. Click the green "Clone or Download" button. Select download zip. Github updates need to be done manually, so when updating the skin make sure you give the zip file a unique name otherwise kodi will try to use a cached version (I usually just add the date on the end - e.g. skin.horizon-180717.zip). Then go to Add-ons and select install from zip (you might need to turn on install from unknown sources in System Settings > Add-ons).

Disclaimer
The skin is for KRYPTON ONLY. However, many users have reported that the skin works well on Leia also. The main change needed is an updated DialogAddonSettings.xml which bsoriano has kindly made the changes for and provided in this post:

Yeah it will be its own skin. I originally was going to make it an option, but very early on I realised that there were just far too many changes and it was going to be too complicated.

Very Nice. Reminds me a liiiittle bit of Eminence on that list view.
edit: love those textures too, especially on the big top bar and thee way it contrasts straight underneath with the light line. Material-ish

This looks epic! I was a huge fan of horizon but saw the dev stopped logging in as well and was quite disapointed
Not sure if its in the cards but a huge preference of mine is having different view options for widgets i.e. Posters, Landscape, banners and more......
That would be my vote to set this skin apart and make it out of this world.
And that Horizon view is also pretty awesome if it can be incorporated

Currently the widgets automatically determine whether to show posters or square, but I will probably also add a landscape toggle.
