TVHeadend, Nvidia Shield TV XMLTV Issue - manc01 - 2017-07-09
Hi there, I have got TVHeadend working properly for my region Adelaide, Australia. I have the icons looking good & the OTA EPG works but I am struggling to get the XMLTV to work properly. It is probably something simple but I am pretty new to this so maybe someone can just help me with resolving the issue. I have collected an xml file which contains the appropriate data and put it in SHIELD/internal/Documents/tvheadend_server which is meant to be the correct directory.
Under Channels/EPG I have nothing in the EPG source. I have tried putting in what I think the correct path is but it will not save. Under EPG Grabber modules/External Grabber modules it points to /data/data/com.tvheadend.server/files/config/epggrab/xmltv.sock. I am really stuck & it is probably something simple. It just seems like guides for this & Android/Nvidia Shield TV is pretty limited. Sorry for sounding stupid but can someone help a noob out, it really would be appreciated.
