I saw some really old polls and I just wanted to get an up to date poll for favorite backend/frontend preference.

Considering the Kodi work done, the Silicon Dust HDHomeRun would be in the top tier of my choices even if they didn't sponsor Kodi https://www.silicondust.com/

Better would probably be to have two seperate polls as it really depends if you prefer to use Linux or Windowsfor the OS on the PVR-backend side.
If Windows OS I vote for MediaPortal, and for Linux I vote for Tvheadend.

HDHomeRun PVR native addon development looks to have stalled and sadley never had developers from SiliconDust working on it. The official (non-PVR) python script addon does not use Kodi's PVR API but sees more attention since it is more mature, does not everyone knows about the unofficial native addon.
IMHO, optimally the company should put some developers on improving the (binary) HDHomeRun PVR native addon, adding recording and more. Again it is sad that SiliconDust have not done so already.

Hdhomerun tuner, with nextPVR backend/front end...... very stable!
