IR remote and video streaming not working - oz1sej - 2017-07-30 Hi all, I've been running XBMC for two years, then OpenELEC for one year on a RaspberryPi model B, and I've been very satisfied. I grew tired of OpenELEC's read-only file system and unchangeable root password, so I decided to do a fresh Raspbian install and then Kodi 17 on top. However, I have a few problems: 1. My Philips TV infrared remote control. It worked out-of-the-box with XBMC and OpenELEC, and now it doesn't. It does say when it boots, that Pulse-Eight CEC adapter is installed and running, but the remote doesn't work. 2. When streaming tv (add-on "Danish Live TV") I only have sound - no picture. This worked fine on XBMC and OpenELEC. Any suggestions? Best regards, Steen RE: IR remote and video streaming not working - DaVu - 2017-07-31 For the 1st question: Check the TV settings if CEC is correctly enabled. If all is correct, I guess you have to ask Raspbian for that issue. You could do a quick check with LibreELEC and see if CEC works there. If yes, then that is not a Kodi related problem, but maybe an OS related problem. So I guess the guys from Raspbian might know best. For the 2nd question....
