Where did the "remoterepeat" option go? - User 161650 - 2017-09-03
Hi, I'm setting up a remote with LIRC and a serial IR receiver, and I have a problem with double key presses; I've read about a remoterepeat option to add in the advancedsettings.xml file, but it seems to be gone! The wiki page just reports "<remoterepeat> - Removed", and trying to set it anyway (obviously) does not work. So, how can I achieve the same result?

No, unfortunately remotedelay doesn't work.

It should be possible to set this via lirc's config.

Are you sure? From what I've understood that's an intermediate layer (or similar) that Kodi doesn't use at all. In fact I tried something and went nowhere.

Does anyone know of a solution to this yet? My iOS remote is driving me crazy.
