Where do i find the location of recording directories for PVR clients?

Depends upon your backend. This particular client does not support recording. There is a version (found on SD's forums) that integrates with their backend, and you set the location from their setup tool.

i am using the Michael Brehm PVR addon and it supports recording.
i recorded some live tv but i cannot find where it is storing them
should this be in kodi folder?

That's the client from the SD forums. It uses your SD DVR service instance, so its wherever your set that up to be when you installed the service.
If you haven't paid for and activated your SD DVR service then while Kodi May say your PVR client is recording, it's really not.
