AVI Problems? Help Please - matera - 2008-03-28
Hello,
THis is my first post in this community. I hope this is the right place.
Anyway here is the problem:
I load up xbmc on my mac.
Then when I select an AVI file sometimes it only plays the audio. No video.
I then quit and reload. Same file my now work. I don't get it.
This is ok for me but my wife is starting to get a bit skeptical of this upgrade.
More expensive and not working right.
Please can anyone help!

Not unless you post more details about the file that's not playing correctly. Posting the contents of /var/tmp/xbmc.log would be a good start.

Try playing a different movie file.
