Solving the de-interlacing problem on Fire TV 2 - sirmedia - 2017-10-19
Fire TV 2 (4K) box, HD Homerun Connect: de-interlacing sucks! I tried both Kodi HDHR addons, Plex, the HDHR app. They all look terrible.
What are the best solutions to make it usable? I have a powerful Linux server, gigabit wired LAN, so I don't mind running a good PVR backend there that takes care of de-interlacing. Any ideas for the proper PVR server to look at?
Or if there are simpler config fixes in Kodi, or SPMC, or MrMC, or ...
