movie fanart is not supported, but there are ways to make a skin use locally stored fanart.

I haven't written any code for it, but I think it would be possible to use an image control and make xbmc look into a set local directory. It would require some way of coupling the currently selected movie with the image though, and right now as I am writing this I begin to doubt if that would be possible
Maybe I spoke too soon lol 
But maybe a combination of using a multiimage control and the use of local fanart could work (http://forum.xbmc.org/showpost.php?p=177807&postcount=69)
