end of buffer - NiekN - 2017-11-22

This weekend i heb testen kodi again with IPTV, with IPTV simple client
I had totally of 8 times a frozen image(in 4 soccer games), i think buffer empty (server problem)
I used Aeon Nox skin , and i cannot see what the buffer does(no hourglass, nothing)The video player kills the stream between 10 and 20 sec.
After that i can startup again the stream. If i start the stream directly after the image is forzen , it will crash kodi.

Is there a way i can set the stream, on continue when the buffer will fill again, so the stream will continue automatically
or is there a way if buffer is empty, that it will kill directly the videostream(parameter)
or is there a way i can seen on the screen the buffer status? or when it will kill teh videostream ?

That is not a debug log. You need to have enabled debugging in Settings>System Settings>Logging, restart Kodi then replicate the problem. In your case, try to play the movie. Once done upload to pastebin and link back here. Note: Full logs only. No partial or redacted logs

in the end the IPTV stream hanged for about 30sec, then i timeout was triggered i think ..

Mmh i think if end of buffer is reached(stream stops/picture freeze) it should be visible, but how?
Also if that happens it should be possible to kill video player , but how?

Now I wait for 20sec if nothing happens i force a reboot

I have had a look at the log again. You still have not enabled debugging mode. Go to Settings>System Settings>Logging and enable the first option.

Before you upload again, look in the log. You should see the word DEBUG throughout the log. If you don't see it, then it has not been Enabled. This is an example of how you should see it...

You can either enable debugging via the Kodi GUI, or add the <loglevel>1</loglevel> tag in the advancedsettings.xml file.
Then restart Kodi for a clean log file, and play your video(s) until the problem reappears, close Kodi and upload the new kodi.log file.

Not a debug log? i switch on
i checked et setting>system>logging
i activate component specifiek logging, selected video logging
activated event log

now i switched on debug log, by keyboard SHIFT+CTRL+D

now i get a text continue on screen !!!!
