I am looking for some complement to read PDF files, I found one, but only read PDF files that are images, so I can not read text PDFs.
Any way to open a PDF in Kodi?

Unfortunately no, currently there is no way for Kodi to render PDF files and it looks it's going to be the case for a time. In addition to the addon you found Theduuub (author of Hyperlauncher) has made an addon that uses Ghostscript to render the PDFs into PNG images and then display those in Kodi. Maybe that could be OK for you.
