I have noticed with the Airmouse it will not wake the Kodi box (based on Windows platform) from sleep. I have a work around which uses some Home Automation to send a WOL packet to the Kodi endpoint when the TV it is attached to becomes active and responds to pings.

My current investigations;
Power button on the remote will gracefully put the Kodi box to sleep just not wake it even if you press the button to put it into "air mouse mode" first and try to wake it with mouse or keyboard on back
A real wireless keyboard (which I assumed an airmouse was emulating) will actually wake the Kodi endpoint
I have two of these remote(s) and 3 Kodi endpoints on different hardware, all Windows and none of them wake from sleep
I have seen some threads around on the Googles with a couple of crew asking the same questions but no official answer/solution

anyone out there with thoughts on this / solution?
