ShieldTV mapping stopped working after windows 10 update. - QWee - 2018-01-19
Hello,
Basically, everything was running perfectly (and have done so for quite some time), until my server computer running windows decided to update. A rather big update if I'm not mistaken.
Smb://192.168.1.2/Movies (static ip) is my current mapping, and this have worked well before. I can reach my library on both my laptop and my stationary computer through kodi 17.1 (running this on all my devices), but when I try to enter it through my shieldTV I get that the library is missing, when I try go through the Media Sources it now asks for a password with a login through my email (same as I use to access the PCs), altough I'm not able to login with my current password.
I fear something has been changed in my network settings, but i'm at a loss here. My sharing is open for everyone but still without success.
Anyone who knows how to solve or work around this?

Solved it by disabling password protected sharing.

You need to make sure SMB1 is enabed in Windows.
