Works nicely. Is there a fix or workaround for stop? It still pauses when you say Alexa stop.

Hi,

Made all the steps.
You put me also in the email list.

Skill responds to commands:

* Resume
* pause (instead of stop)
* forward XX minutes

Unfortunately play [movie] is not working:
Alexa responds to the command with:

"Getting XXXXXX from Kodi Video" but nothing happens

Loved this skill, but I just received an email with the subject line “Beta test has ended for the Alexa skill: Kodi Video”. It goes on to say thank you for testing the skill, etc., etc...

Anybody else receive this?

Haven’t had a chance to see if it still works yet but will test later...

For all those that received email about finished Beta testing, Amazon only allows one to run for 90 days.
But I have started a new one, with the new link for the skill:

Just wanted to add that this is my favorite Alexa skill. The ability to load any movie or tv show with Alexa without having to say "Alexa, ask App to play the movie Avengers" is awesome! I love that I can just say, "Alexa, play Avengers" and it works.

Did you enable debug logging? Because I can't see any KodiConnect logs there
Sorry about that. Need to leave debug on all the time. Here's my latest log, but, now , again, Alexa says playing "show" on kodi video and nothing plays. However, I can now exit out of Kodi without any problems.

Hey. I've found out what the problem is.
Should be fixed in the newest 0.1.13 version. Can you please try it out?

I've addressed this on Amazon forums. They mostly responded, that it's actually on purpose on their side, as they think it's more user friendly. But I've mentioned it, that multiple people are complaining about it, and hopefully they will do something about it.
