Btw. for all of you users, I would recommend to u secure your Alexa first, in order to avoid potential troubles. Do this https://www.smarthomegeeks.co.uk/how-to/5-simple-steps-to-secure-your-amazon-alexa/  it helped me a lot with navigation the whole thing (had plenty of issues at the beginning)

Hi,

I'm using docker to run my own kodi-connect server instance using the sources from
https://github.com/kodi-connect/kodi-connect

Everything seems to work properly and I've configured (a hell lot) within amazon to be able to link skills.
Unfortunately I'm experiencing the generic error "We were unable to link Kodi Alexa at this time." and I believe it's due to the fact to something you've mentioned here

Hi,
skill is working perfectly with Echo Dot, but not with Echo show. If I've ask to watch, Alexa ask me if I like to watch on Kodi or Show and then there is no way how to enforce Alexa for Kodi Sad

Actually, this is the commit that solved the issue:

Multiple people reported this issue. Unfortunately, I can't do much about this, as the request never reaches my skill. But if someone does find a solution, please let others know.

Ok, this is probably why this doesn't work on the FireTV Cube.

Hi, I can't open apps. Alexa says: I can't launch apps on Kodi Video with the command launch appname app.
Saying Launch appname  - i get error - hmm I don't know that.

Please help
