Doesn’t work on my Shield... I’ve been through all settings and the best I get is 432. As soon as I change to anything higher (in manual selection mode) I only get black screen. Controls work, video is obviously playing, but... any ideas?

Thanks!
Did you install Kodi 19?
Kodi 19 is no longer needed you just need the latest 18 nightly from here

Other users say you can use the latest nightly. I did it before the nightly was available, that's why I used version 19.

RE: Netflix Add-on [input-stream] - Argonis - 2019-10-10

Is there anyway to get HDR to work? I am using an HTPC with an HDR display and it doesn't seem to toggle.

RE: Netflix Add-on [input-stream] - acexp2 - 2019-10-11

I've got an odd problem that I can't seem to find anyone else having in the better part of a year. I can login, but once I've done so, there's no lists of any type, only the search option. Trying the search option itself sadly returns nothing. It was working absolutely perfect Monday, but I haven't been able to get it back since. Upgraded to the current nightly build including in an attempt to fix, same result. Any ideas? Thanks!

RE: Netflix Add-on [input-stream] - HalfEmptY - 2019-10-11

Nice work Devs! Thanks for this addon.

The issue with the shield was, and as I suspected...
"Nvidia and their Widevine DRM (Digital Rights Management) on Shield TV was downgraded, due to security reasons. This means that UHD 4K was disabled natively on that device." Which their latest update addressed.

I just tried it again so it should be the latest entry in the logfile.
Looks like an inputsteam Add-on widevine error, I would suggest waiting for the next Kodi nightly and upgrading.

You also have broken Add-ons on your system. Small hint but when you look a the log just do a search for "ERROR" and you will find all the issues.
I thought if it was a widevine issue that would affect me being able to play movies on netflix, and also from amazon - I can watch any of my amazon content and movies and comedy specials are working on netflix. The issue is only that episodic shows on netflix don't seem to work.

What is interesting is that it was working just fine after I got the shield update, I went away for the weekend, came back, and Kodi had updated, and now this behavior....

I'll keep waiting for the next update to see if it corrects anything.
So quick update - I just updated Kodi to 18.4 (the latest update available on the Android TV Store as of today) - I was still getting the same issue. I uninstalled the addon, flushed cache, and then reinstalled. Same thing - I played around a little more and realized that I can watch any Netflix original programming, but anything that is not Netflix Original will not play, it just sits and spins. I also tried turning off adaptive override in inputstream, and that made no difference. My netflix subscription is the cheapest one, SD only, could that have anything to do with it? I see people having problems getting HD and 4k working, but I'm just trying to get ANYTHING Smile

Never mind...turns out I needed to set my location in Kodi itself. Videos wouldn't start without it.

RE: Netflix Add-on [input-stream] - powermarcel10 - 2019-10-12

Hi guys,

I have tried to search for my answer in this topic, but the search word "4k" is too short..

So, I try to ask it here..

Is it right that 4K is not supported by this addon yet on Windows? I'm using the kodi 19 HDR version, but with every setting I tried, fullhd is the max resolution I can get..

I'm just going to wait for a stable release to fix it then, because I don't want to risk my setup with an unstable nightly. I've put a LOT of work into it and while I have backups, it will still be a lot of work restoring everything.

Correct. No 4K on Windows currently.
