RE: Netflix Add-on [input-stream] - Babyboomer - 2018-11-24

On some movies the screen gets white angled lines the flash really bright for 2 - 3 secs which is annoying happens about every 15 to 20 mins until about the last half hour of the movie then it happens more often. It’s never in the same spot if you rewatch the movie. Running kodi 18 rc, this happpens on 0.13.18. I tried the 0.14.17 beta and the screen freezes after a sec of playing but audio keeps playing on the same movie. Is anyone else having this issue?

Dude, you're not going to get support by just removing the banned addons from your log.

Beta18 is now available. Unfortunately Netflix have really outdone themselves with their latest changes. 1080p unlock is broken for good, so it's permanently disabled. Some titles still won't play properly, you need to set Max. Resolution secure decoder to 640p in inputsrream adaptive settings for these to work (see my comment in the PR on Github). It's the best that's possible right now, sorry.

There are some new features like library migration (exports made with 0.13.x versions of the plugin won't work with 0.14.x versions) and fixes:
  1. ESN generation on Android is fixed
  2. If you were having trouble with AddonSignals timeouts, enable "IPC over HTTP" in the settings.

I'm sorry to bother you again, I have still the same issue, and don't understand why.
I have installed Netflix Addon Repository (1.0.1 by libdev + jojo + asciidisco). Into the information screens of this Netflix Addon Repository, I don't have any Dependencies attached.
Then, when I want to install Netflix from that Addon, I can select a version (Version 0.13.15), but I don't have the following windows with "the following additional add-ons will be installed".
And a notification alerts me that : "The dependency  on script.module.pycryptodome version". And I can't install the add-on.

The Videoplayer InputStream are enabled.

I'm new to Kodi, and don't understand why I can't access to that pycryptodome dependency.
Is this not working because I'm on OSMC instead of LibreElec ?

Thank you for your time !
Blush
I'm having same issue as Yamelia, log file error is "ERROR: CAddonInstallJob[plugin.video.netflix]: The dependency on script.module.pycryptodome version 3.4.3 could not be satisfied."

This is a fresh install of Ubuntu and a fresh install of Kodi. I am new to Kodi and intend to use this to replace an old Amazon Fire Stick that's starting to fail.

Digging around I can't quite figure out what I need to do to fix this. I have installed the Cryptdome python library as described in the github prereqs. Not sure what else to try?

Hello!

I follow instructions as posted here and I can't login to my Netflix account. Here's my log: https://paste.kodi.tv/otomanuwux

Please keep in mind, I use very complex random generate password using all kind of unusual characters. Like: / # " = ?
I mention this in case it's a potential issue.

I'm with LibreELEC 8.90.007

Any suggestion?

RE: Netflix Add-on [input-stream] - Daikath - 2018-11-25

I got a raspberry pi, I have had some windows experience, but this was my first time dealing with Linux. I got one mainly because I wanted to be able to contiue watching Netflix on my old crt tv. (since my Wii will not support it anymore after new years)

After some rough starts I managed to get kodi working on it and then update it to kodi 18 and I followerd a video explaining how to install the netflix add-on and it worked great.

Now last night it suddenly stopped working. Oh well no big deal. I was warned time and time again that this was all beta code and it all could break at any moment. So I formatted my sd card again, re etched kodi onto there and then updated it to the latest version. Re installed Netflix but this time from the latest version from the github page.. But then it would't play a video after I installed all the things it asked for when selecting a video even after rebooting...

So I figured out how to enable the debug log and upload it..

If anyone could tell me what is going ion here. It would be really great. If I can't get this to work there's a giood chance I'll cancel my netflix subscription..

Why don't you change your password temporarily to something without special characters and find out if it's an issue or not?

RE: Netflix Add-on [input-stream] - asplundj - 2018-11-25

I'm running netflix 0.13.19 on kodi leia beta 5 on a odroid c2 with coreelec. I can find shows on netflix but I can't get them to play. My widevine works fine with the Viaplay addon

Here's my log

RE: Netflix Add-on [input-stream] - Daikath - 2018-11-25

I seem to be getting the same error as asplundj is getting.

From my logs from line 2708
Code:
[size=small]ERROR: Traceback (most recent call last):[/size]
ERROR: File "/usr/lib/python2.7/SocketServer.py", line 290, in _handle_request_noblock
ERROR: File "/usr/lib/python2.7/SocketServer.py", line 318, in process_request

ERROR: File "/usr/lib/python2.7/BaseHTTPServer.py", line 340, in handle
ERROR: File "/usr/lib/python2.7/BaseHTTPServer.py", line 328, in handle_one_request

and from line 1065 on  asplundj's logs it shows the same error messages.

I didn't want to re-login all connected devices. I didn't know that was not necessary! Anyway... I change the pass to digits only. I uninstall and re-install the add on. Still not working. Not sure why this time. New log here: http://paste.kodi.tv/atolewovuy

Use 0.13.18, 0.13.19 is broken, uninstall everything first.

RE: Netflix Add-on [input-stream] - asplundj - 2018-11-25

Thanks, 0.13.18 works fine

RE: Netflix Add-on [input-stream] - essam315 - 2018-11-25

Here is a fixed version of 0.13.19 done by me, (the fix tested with windows 10, it might not work for some others operating systems then try opening Kodi and right click on the Netflix plugin icon and choose Settings, stand on Expert and enable HEVC profiles).

use this release with Windows 10

https://github.com/asciidisco/plugin.video.netflix/files/2613222/plugin.video.netflix-0.13.19.FIX.zip

and use this release with non-Windows operating systems
