Install this Fork and it will get you back up and running!  https://github.com/xLAva/plugin.video.netflix/tree/ListingFix

xLAva figured it out.  <333
 Thanks for replying it.

Is this on another repository from the original asciidisco? I couldn't find it.
Yes, until the code is merged to either the main branch or CastagnaIT's v14 Beta Nightlies, you need to install this fork from xLAva - https://github.com/xLAva/plugin.video.netflix/tree/ListingFix

I Know that's must not be the right timing but is it there any hope to get all Netflix content at least in HD 720p on a Raspberry Pi?

There's a lot of content that it is restricted to 480p. All of Disney's to name a few.

This is frustrating.

Please, let me know.

There is a fix and here is the link to the new add on ZIP

RE: Netflix Add-on [input-stream] - Dobbytwisted - 2019-03-08

Dont believe that's new, that's an old one with the glitch profile 30059c. Believe someone said there was a typo in the .kodi/addons/plugin.video.netflix/resources/settings.xml.

Need to remove the c on that profile. Also remove the profile login on the others settings.xml. Still this addon fix doesn't work for me. But all good

Edit: I take that back, raspberry pi users or anyone with that existing profile 30059c need to edit two xml files

First one located .kodi/addons/plugin.video.netflix/resources/settings.xml

Locate 30059c in the xml and remove the c and save next file located
.kodi/userdata/addon_data/plugin.video.neflix

Remove the encrypted email esn and password. Save reboot and open netflix enter your login enjoy. Didn't work for me at first because I forgot to delete the esn.

I just checked but it seems this fix applies to the "old" 0.13 branch and not the new 0.14 branch, because I cannot find the two files that were changed in the 0.14B21 zip file.

RE: Netflix Add-on [input-stream] - peachey777 - 2019-03-08

Thanks the fix works great. For anyone having trouble applying the fix, it can be found on this page:
https://github.com/xLAva/plugin.video.netflix/commit/e64b7cdc9d4bd081ed7c45c0a0963d2949739b78

The fix is in the resources/lib/NetflixSession.py file. I'm not sure if the fix applies to this CastagnaIT plugin, but the current fix is for the asciidisco plugin, so if you're applying the fix make sure you have that version installed:
https://github.com/asciidisco/plugin.video.netflix

So again, it's the NetflixSession.py file that contains the fix. I'm not 100% sure how to use GitHub, so what I did is I downloaded a copy of the fixed NetflixSession.py file and just overwrote the existing one from the asciidisco plugin:

RE: Netflix Add-on [input-stream] - donkeyhigh - 2019-03-08

I'm sorry for being a newb. I try to figure out as much as I can by myself before posting here, but I'm at a loss again..
I followed these instructions to the letter, and got it working on my RPi 3b+(when applying the new patch):
https://github.com/jet86/plugin.video.netflix/blob/patch-1/RPi3-installation.md

However, I would really love to be able to make it work without needing LibreElec. I've tried installing RetroPie, then installing Kodi from their repository/install apps menu.
Kodi works just fine, but following the exact same instructions from before, it won't work. I've tried other RPi OSes with Kodi as well, but the only way I seem to be able to make it work, is through LibreElec. It's kind of annoying, because I wanted this Pi to be easy for my kids to use. Now I have to teach them how to dual-boot. One OS for games, one for media.

Does anyone know if there are some files that are necessary that are in LibreElec, but no other RPi OS? Is it something I could copy/paste from one OS to the other? Or download an additional patch of some kind in order to make it work with any Kodi on any OS? Well, retropie at least.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

RE: Netflix Add-on [input-stream] - Kyrio - 2019-03-08

Yep its working again. My problem still is that it does not remember my subtitle language and every episode I have to change it. SadSadSad

RE: Netflix Add-on [input-stream] - Epikmonolith - 2019-03-08

Works, but I have the subtitle language issue too and compared to the version in the 1st post, 5.1 does not seem to work either.

RE: Netflix Add-on [input-stream] - vitocorl - 2019-03-08

When you are playing a video and press to select subtitles, do you select to make default for all media?

RE: Netflix Add-on [input-stream] - donkeyhigh - 2019-03-08

Going into the subtitles menu during playback, setting the correct subtitle language, and pressing Save as Default for all videos, didn't work for me.
But what DID work, was going into Settings, then Media Playback(?)(not at home atm, so can't remember the exact names of the menus), then Languages.
I don't know if you have to set permissions in Kodi as Expert or if it works with Standard as well, but if you can't find it with Standard, just select Expert, then Languages.
Setting my default language to my native language there, both in audio and subtitles, seems to have done the trick. My kids can enjoy Netflix (and movies they stream from my mediaserver with multiple audio outputs) in Norwegian by default.

RE: Netflix Add-on [input-stream] - CastagnaIT - 2019-03-08

I applied the bugfix now the plugin is working again,
i decided not to do a daily build, but a new release: beta 22,
those who prefer to stay on the beta 21 version, i uploaded the beta 21 fixed

RE: Netflix Add-on [input-stream] - grote345 - 2019-03-08

Just installed the beta 21 fixed its not working on lela 18.1 getting nothing its notworking  if i open it keeps giving wait for the background services to load and then i cant even login

RE: Netflix Add-on [input-stream] - NackteElfe - 2019-03-08

I installed the beta22 and everything works smoothly again (except Win10 with 4k, but I guess that's not fixable atm).

Thanks for the very quick fix, @"stefive83"
Using the Win 10 netflix app for a day instead was such a pain, it really makes me appreciating your work even more!
