I would like to help you, but unfortunately I don't use Ubuntu. I can't test it. But you can use the standard Kodi database. It should definitely work with the kodi database. And for data comparison you can use "Trakt und "The Moviedb Helper". That's how i do it. I have a few kodi installations, they are all up-to-date without me having to worry about it. RE: Titan M O D ( last Updated 19-12-2019) - Fuchs2468 - 2022-08-19 @grappi. I just had an idea. But you would have to test Kodi 19 again. And you would have to change 4 files in "script.module.metadatautils". Since kodi freezes after 2-3 days, this could be a possible cause. Because "script.module.metadatautils" queries the Top250 and the "Metacritic status" and the series status after 2 days online. It would be nice if you could test it. But it's no big deal. You only have to change 4 numerical values. search in: \addons\script.module.metadatautils\lib\metadatautils.py \addons\script.module.metadatautils\lib\helpers\imdb.py \addons\script.module.metadatautils\lib\helpers\metacritic.py \addons\script.module.metadatautils\lib\helpers\tunes.py search for: Code: @use_cache(2) Code: @use_cache(7) If one of the files is the cause, kodi should freeze after 7 days. And we know where the error is. I keep getting prompted to install the plugin and the only thing I can find related to anything Youtube is regarding trailers. There's an option in the skin (Media library views > Trailer Settings > Just play locally. . . WIP) but toggling it doesn't seem to do anything. If I want a trailer for a movie, I have a copy downloaded in the movie folder. Updating to Kodi 19 and the newer skin isn't an option (*any* version of 19 doesn't play nice with my ShieldTV on 8.2.3 or any 9.xx). Install the Youtube addon then you can deactivate it immediately. Deactivating only works via the context menu, not via the addon settings. After that you will have no more warnings. Yes I have to be honest I have never really tested local trailers. I always watch trailers via the Youtube addon. I think I have found a solution to this problem. I just did a quick test with local trailers and it looks good. This solution might even solve another problem that exists with auto play trailers. I think I will post a test version here this weekend. I go back to Kodi 19, make the changes and start the next attempt this weekend. I will report back at next weeks end. The only solution so far for Matrix is Flatpak Kodi, that has few crashes. https://flathub.org/apps/details/tv.kodi.Kodi Kodi Nexus works fine with Titan MOD, and only a few addons fail, hopefully Kodi devs will implement the fix from Nexus to Kodi v19.5. RE: Titan M O D ( last Updated 19-12-2019) - csts - 2022-08-23 Flatpak Kodi uses python v3.9 in a container -Kodi v19.4 uses python v3.8-, that's why it's working. RE: Titan M O D ( last Updated 19-12-2019) - satelly - 2022-08-26 Thanks Fuchs2468 for keeping this skin up to date. Just wondering whether you will be updating it to Kodi Nexus. Also, 1 view which I like from the other Titan mods (eg. Titan Bingie v1) is the Netflix poster where it has 2 rows of posters (bottom row is half hidden), compared to the current poster view here where there is only 1 row. I do note there is the Netflix view with 2 rows of landscape. Titan Bingie is no longer updated and AchillesPunks Bingie Mod 1 is excellent but only has 1 main menu option. Any chance you can add the option of a Netflix poster view with 2 rows (bottom row is half hidden) or advice how to achieve this. Thanks RE: Titan M O D ( last Updated 19-12-2019) - Fuchs2468 - 2022-08-26 (2022-08-26, 12:55)satelly Wrote: If all addons that are required for Titan-Mod support Nexus, then there will also be a Nexus update. To your second question, no, I will not change it. The amount of work would be far too great, as I wouldn't have to change just 2 or 3 numerical values. As you have already noticed, Titan-Mod does not only have a home layout, and the layouts would all have to be checked and adapted in the event of a change. With Titan-Mod you have the choice between 2 home layouts in Netflix style. Choose a layout, that's all i can offer you. RE: Titan M O D ( last Updated 19-12-2019) - Fuchs2468 - 2022-08-27 Info about Titan-Mod with Nexus !!! "kodi-20.0-Nexus_alpha1" works with Titan-Mod. "kodi-20.0-Nexus_alpha2" does not work with Titan-Mod. If you want to test Nexus, please use a current nightly version. All nightly versions after 07.08.2022 work with Titan-Mod. Tested with windows 10/ 64 bit. RE: Titan M O D ( last Updated 19-12-2019) - satelly - 2022-08-28 (2022-08-27, 03:37)Fuchs2468 Wrote: Info about Titan-Mod with Nexus !!! Thanks Fuchs2468. Sorry didn't read all the comments RE: Titan M O D ( last Updated 19-12-2019) - Fuchs2468 - 2022-08-30 (2022-08-28, 19:12)grappi Wrote: I made the changes and actually the problems now started after 7 days. First of all, it's good to know that my assumption was correct. I don't know if you want to test further? I can't test it because I don't use the same system setup (mysql, hardware, software) as you. If you want to test further, we would now have to find out which of the 4 files is causing the error. To do this, reset all values and test each file individually. with: Code: @use_cache(7) \addons\script.module.metadatautils\lib\helpers\tunes.py \addons\script.module.metadatautils\lib\helpers\metacritic.py \addons\script.module.metadatautils\lib\helpers\imdb.py \addons\script.module.metadatautils\lib\metadatautils.py RE: Titan M O D ( last Updated 19-12-2019) - AchillesPunks - 2022-08-30 @Fuchs2468 instead of @use_cache(7) use @use_cache(1) That way you don't have to wait 7 days? Wouldn't this be fast? Test it in this order: \addons\script.module.metadatautils\lib\helpers\tunes.py \addons\script.module.metadatautils\lib\helpers\metacritic.py \addons\script.module.metadatautils\lib\helpers\imdb.py \addons\script.module.metadatautils\lib\metadatautils.py RE: Titan M O D ( last Updated 19-12-2019) - Fuchs2468 - 2022-08-31 (2022-08-30, 22:04)AchillesPunks Wrote: That way you don't have to wait 7 days? Wouldn't this be fast? Yes, that's right. That's how I would do it too. But since I don't know whether grappi uses kodi every day or how often he looks at this test, that's why I chose these values. So that he also keeps track and doesn't get confused with this test. |
