x96 Mini Kodi Install - wt77gj - 2018-04-12
Hi everyone... New starter here and require assistance
I have an x96 Mini tv box that im trying to set up.
It seemed to not run very smoothly from the box and required updates etc for add-on installed.
Some light research informed me to un-install and simply re-install with the latest version from the Kodi.tv site.
clicked on the android icon and then clicked on the ARM 32 bit button and.......... nothing........
Even tried to put the download on the laptop and copy across to thumbdrive and then insert that and update. No file found.
Have good internet access and strength so let it sit there for twice as long as the laptop took to download... still nothing.
Did a retore to factory setting and the addons for the tv box came back along with i presume an older version of kodi.
Please help... What am i missing on the download screen that shows on the tv with the x96 box plugged in etc.

Works for me. Check if you don't have some content blocker in your browser...

How do I know if there is a content blocker? Will it be in settings within the screen that shows up on the TV...

So i can also go through google store to Kodi? i thought the Kodi Site would be the same though either way... I think thats the issue, peraps im not seeing a screen or a drop down note that would normally show up once I've hit the download button. as in if theres another promt to do something.
Should it just be a 1 click download and then it will automatically load once done
How long should the download take given descent internet speed?

Yes, you go to download page, select your OS (Android 32bit) and it should start....not long maybe coupl eof minutes at most.
You should try uninstalling Kodi that came with your box and then installing from Google play.

If you are still having problems, using a pc, go to the download page, https://kodi.tv/download select android, download the 32bit & the 64 bit, copy to a usb stick, then plug it into your box, then install it.
It might just be you device needs 64 bit, but unlikely
