Dolby Digital Plus AC3 Transcoding - lemorian - 2018-07-05
HI,
I noticed that Kodi v18 - Alpha2 , doesn't transcode Dolby Digital Plus audio to Dolby Digital anymore, when I enabled Dolby Digital passthru and AC3 encoding.I tested with DTS-MA and PCM Flac, both are transcoded to AC3 properly.
This used to work in V17.6.
Kindly let me know if I am missing anything.

from memory they were blaming our shitty soundcards and they were not going to " hack" around our issues anymore
