RE: Titan BINGIE v1 (UPDATED 2/5/2019) - djneil - 2019-08-06 @cartman.dos So I tried the 1.0.3 version and I quite like the osd for live TV. Two suggestions maybe: Wouldn't it make sense to swap channel name and currently playing show? So that the show.is on top in big font and the channel in small font underneath? https://imgur.com/FI2gbGP Also could you maybe add the option to only have the non bingie osd in live TV that shows all information at the bottom of the screen? Without the plot and stuff blocking the view to the playing channel. https://imgur.com/isl5QYP I like the clean bingie osd for movies and TV shows but it is just not really useful for live TV. So would be great to be able to make a difference between PVR and all other media. If this is asked too much I am sorry but I think this would be much more practical for live TV usage Last thing: is there a donation link for your work? Cheers! RE: Titan BINGIE v1 (UPDATED 2/5/2019) - Crimsondragon72 - 2019-08-07 Ok it seems I have an older version of Bengie I have the 1.0.2 version and I am havig alot of issues getting it to work since my Navidia shield and Kodi updated. I got everything working but can't get the next episode to pop after I have finished a show that I know has more episodes. Can someone either tell me how to get this feature to work again or where to get the 1.03 version RE: Titan BINGIE v1 (UPDATED 2/5/2019) - Crimsondragon72 - 2019-08-07 Ignor my earlier post. Can someone point me to how to get the play next episode pop up. Like if you are watching say House and you start at season 1 episode one and you finish how it shows in the bottom corrner want to play next episode. That has disappeared from my skin I think I have to turn it on but I don't know how RE: Titan BINGIE v1 (UPDATED 2/5/2019) - daking1512 - 2019-08-07 Just wanted to chime in and report some bugs after making a clean kodi install and one video addon only with the latest push for the bingie skin on your github 1- Episode plot stuck in OSD: this bug only affects TV shows, and will occur regardless of the window active (home, hub, addon, etc) if
2- The kick back one directory up bug: this bug will occur to any multi level directory list (Season/Episode hierarchy included), either a local library or a video addon (it doesnt happen in TITAN Mod or AuraMOD, they both have the bingie video info panel), to reproduce
the issue doesn't occur if I use the old titan video info panel (by disabling bingie video info panel) or the Extended info dialog 3- the 525 season view still doesnt work on addon sourced season/episode hierarchy like how it works on library sourced TV shows I think this about covers every possible way to trigger every "Bingie Info dialog" related bug ever the rest works beautifully RE: Titan BINGIE v1 (UPDATED 2/5/2019) - cscott1 - 2019-08-07 (2019-08-07, 05:04)Crimsondragon72 Wrote: Ignor my earlier post. RE: Titan BINGIE v1 (UPDATED 2/5/2019) - 3500 - 2019-08-07 Your Skin.Helper.Service is having issue with mine if i used your version on your repo, the Kodi having heavy movement, like is lagging but if i used on repo kodi it is fine, but the Skin.Helper.Service is has error notification and i'm using the latest version of yours again and i'm having issue again, but not having error notification please help me sir @cartman.dos RE: Titan BINGIE v1 (UPDATED 2/5/2019) - cscott1 - 2019-08-07 @Cartman Dont want to sound like im complaining but i guess i am. Even though the spotlight scalinging in .3 better than it was its still not as good as good as it was in the .2 version I have gone though my 1500 library items and tried to find artwork that fits the top right hand corner thing with better results but to be honest its difficult to find good artwork with that limitation especially when artwork is limited to begin with. I totally understand what you are trying to acomplish with what you have done making the spotlight on both the home and information page a similar size to Netflix which makes the interface look more like Netflix but at a cost imo. If we were able to zoom in or out on the areas we wanted to we could do what Netflix does and make our setups look professional but i doubt that is an option. Right now a lot of my artwork is just zoomed in on someones zit on there forehead or something lol just kidding sort of. I dont know im just kind of rambling but im hoping you can come up with a better compromise. You can also opt for the non-bingie osd-info in settings (if you use the non-bingie osd, you will have option to disable the bingie osd info). 3) Not yet, but I think I'll set one up with the next update RE: Titan BINGIE v1 (UPDATED 2/5/2019) - djneil - 2019-08-07 @cartman.dos Quote:2) The info on-screen can be toggled off ('i' key or 'i' button from osd bar). So just to clarify use non-bingie osd with more information in live tv and use the bingie osd for everything else. If that's too much of a hassle then I can understand, I guess it's just my personal preference to have a osd at the buttom of the screen with some information about the program being played. Quote:3) Not yet, but I think I'll set one up with the next updatealright, I'll keep my eyes open. Bingie has a built-in feature that returns to info dialog from the episodes' view and/or fullscreen video (like netflix) which is exclusive to this skin, however the feature is 'hacky', so I need to patch it untill I find a better way to implement this feature... 2 - will look into it once more. EDIT Please test: delete this line - https://github.com/cartmandos/skin.titan.bingie/blob/v1.0.3-WIP/xml/IncludesDialogVideoInfo.xml#L1824 3 - Didn't implement it to work with addons, I've explained before why and how it works on other skins with addons and why I did not implement it in mine and chose different way of doing it (just for library source) but I'm still thinking of a way integrate it for addons. RE: Titan BINGIE v1 (UPDATED 2/5/2019) - cartman.dos - 2019-08-07 @cscott1 , @neurosis13 - There's no zoom effect...the left edge of the image (and a little of the bottom) are 'cut' because the diffuse masks them, I basically need a better diffuse image. First if you're not using UWP kodi (from windows store / XBOX) - try downgrading cherrypy (look it up in the thread, mentioned it a few times). Second - debug log might help here. What do you feel is missing in the bingie osd for live tv? Not to sound like a total idiot but if the shoe fits where it. It was a non issue with the .2 version what changed there isnt any zooming going on in .3? |
