three things I can't find answers to all to do with widgets.
Is there a way to change the sort order of widget items, so the order of movies is not always alphabetical?
Is there a way to re-order the widget order in settings without selecting each one and changing, (up and down arrows?)
Lastly whenever I edit the widgets Search seems to disappear.

Thanks
The only way i found so far to get my playlists sorted the right way in widgets is to use mixed media playlists.
I made a playlist for TV shows that doesn't return anything.
Then in mixed Media first you select the playlist with your movies, second you select the empty tv shows playlist, next you can select how you want to sort your playlist

It's a very convoluted way of doing it, but i have not found another way yet that sorts the widget the way i like

No idea about your second and third question

Yes you can order the items in your widgets alphabetically as long as the items are in you Kodi library not from add-ons. What you need to do to do this is make a smart playlist and use sort title as your sort order.

Edit*** I read it wrong if you don't want it in alphabetical order you can use Random as the sort order.

You are welcome!
I made some links to Tags and Playlists in my sub menu for Movies. That way i can get there easy.
I also found a way to only scan certain sources of your Movies, that way you don't always have to scan your whole library when you add just 1 or 2 new files.

Selectively scanning a file or two at a time do tell.

well, it doesn't scan just the 1 or 2 files, but you can edit the Update command so it only scans a certain source.
normally the update command looks like this
UpdateLibrary(video)
If you change it to something like this:
UpdateLibrary(video,nfs://192.168.1.12/mnt/user/TV Series/)
it will only scan that source

I have sources for Action, Animated, Comedy, Documentaries, Other, Stand Up Comedy, TV Series and TV Documentaries
This way I can scan each one individually, shortening the scan time quite a bit

Thanks if it involves tweaking the code I'll just wait the two minutes it takes to do a library scan. I have very limited coding skills half the time when I go into the code to make changes I break stuff... lol again make frequent backups.

It does involve editing a xml file.
But the only thing you are doing is adding the path of your source, everything else is already there.
The menu you can build in KODI, so that doesn't involve any coding. You just select the KODI command, Update Movie Library, multiple times as your menu item
Then in the XML file you just add the source.

I wouldn't start messing around in most of those files, but this one is easy

Some of the custom Home menu icons dont show ..

It really doesn't take very long to set up widgets I can do about 30 or so in roughly 5 minutes.

How do you do that so fastHuh
Just selecting Skin Helper Widgets, when i want to add a widget takes about 10-15sec to load every time. Sometimes it goes up to 30 sec.
From then on things go pretty snappy, but loading that first one always seems to take forever

Not sure I don't use many of the skin helper widgets most of mine are just my own smart playlists they are much faster to load probably load faster on setup too I would imagine.

RE: Titan BINGIE v1 (UPDATED 3/4/2019) - cscott1 - 2019-04-06

@Cartman doesn't it bother you a lil the way the skin helper widgets refresh in random order to where the slim menu isn't in view on the left after the refresh? I don't know maybe it's just my OCD but I feel the slim menu should stay fixed after a refresh. Or no slim menu at all with circular navigation which I know is an option but my OCD can't accept that layout anymore having the the partial thumb to the left of the focused thumb is a must for me now that it is an option. I know very minor stuff in the grand scheme of things but just my obsessive compulsive thoughts.

Thank's guys I made lots of playlists and set the sort order by random.

I still can't seem to get my search menu back and now the home menu has disappeared too but it does appear in the configure menu option. Any way to fix it without losing my settings.

Thanks
