It looks like a driver issue as the same code (shader) works under Linux but not under Windows. Software rendering works but can only be switched during compilation yet afaik.

If you've used the exe inside (xbmc_pc.exe) then you'll play with the DirectX version. It's only used for skinners and python testers and may be obsolete in the future. This forum is for the SDL/OpenGL version.
