Is it possible not to have automatic SCROLLING subtitles? - Snowball - 2018-11-07

Hi there,

when I'm watching a video on Youtube I like to turn the automatic subtitles on.
I'm pretty sure that in past I had not this issue. It's not easy to explain but let me try.

Classic subtitles appears in a "single shot" and when they are "old" they go away.
Like this:

[Scene 1]
Where is the car
The the car is in the garage

[Scene 2]
Ok I'm going to take it
No problem

Now the subtitles appear like this (they scroll!):

[Scene 1]
Where is the car
The the car is in the garage

[Scene 2]
The the car is in the garage
Ok I'm going to take it

[Scene 3]
Ok I'm going to take it
No problem

In this way (I know I could get used to this too) it's pretty annoying because I'm used to read the above line before the second one. Like in all the situations (Netflix, classic subtitles,...)
Is there a solution to go back to classic subtitles visualization?

Thanks for help.
Hope to be clear enough.

Scrolling subtitles in Youtube videos are usually translations on-the-fly, whereas classic subtitles are pre-translated subtitles.
I don't think that Kodi has any say in choosing either one of them.

 Thanks for your answer mate!
