No data in EPG - hyntleman - 2019-01-01

Help please (and happy new year).

I simply cannot get vdr to store any data in the epg.data file. It is updated every 10 minutes, but the file size stays zero. I have spent the best part of two days trying. I get vdr-sxfe showing me the pictures, with on screen menus, and the TV channels feed nicely into Kodi. I just cannot get it to store the Epg data. I have trawled the net, and particularly, all the threads in this forum. But nothing helps.
Any advice please?
Relevant data below.
Thanks.

RE: No data in EPG - hyntleman - 2019-01-15

I should mention that the EPG works fine when I use kaffeine. So my usb TV stick is receiving and decoding the program guide OK. VDR also seems to try to update the file periodically, but no data is stored.

Does anyone have any ideas how I go about solving this please?

I also work fine with using caffeine... Smile

Please, use a pastebin website near you next time for uploading long(er) lists or logs, as we try to keep our forum database lean & mean.
Unfortunately, PVR & EPG problems are not my field of expertise. So others will have to step in for that.
