Native HDR playback - lynxstrike - 2019-01-02
Hi...
I would like Kodi to be able to playback "out of the box" HDR content.
Right now I do it via "brazen1" instructions post.

For those of you looking a "out of the box" solution to HDR playing, I came across the following:
1. Kodi MATRIX with native HDR, Fandangos ver. (Kodi forum support)
2. Kodi MATRIX with native HDR, Jogal ver. (Kodi forum for support)
There are several projects out there. If you have other prospects, please let me know.

Mainly targeted at Intel Gemini Lake boards AFAIK.

CoreElec is doing HDR on AMLogic devices such as the Odroid N2 and C4.

This is my last post in this thread and it is to give my most sincere thanks to the Kodi Team and all the people involved in the Kodi project.
Special thanks to @jogal , @fandangos and @Wanilton for all their work, patience and advice... Native HDR playback is now a reality in Kodi
Thanks again for all your hard work!!!
P.S. This just happened for the Windows branch. It's the only OS I work with, so I do not have more information about HDR in other OSs.
