Is there anyway Kodi can show me the Bit rate and frequency of a song when I'm playing it?

it can, but it's up to the skin you are using to display this info or not.
the default estuary skin doesn't.

That's the skin I'm using, I'll look into the other skins and see what I can find.

Give Titan a try.
It takes a fair bit longer to set up & has a heap more options than most other skins (thankfully it has built in backups so you don't risk losing the settings) but is the best skin for music interface in my opinion. And I've tried them all.
This one pictured is the Bingie mod of Titan, it gets decent updates & attention & has more refined music display than the other popular Titan mod. Plus it's still great with all video playback etc.
As well as showing the bit rate & format it can show the artist logo (top right). Plus, and this is essential for any skin I use, with mutli-image background can act like a screensaver is running whilst keeping the music info & interface to the front. Transparency is the next best similar option & is a fair bit simpler to set up but it is also a bit more dated with the interface.

@Bobsmaginty and @docwra, you can also try the just released Aeon MQ 8. The feature-crazy Aeon MQ 7 Mod has multiple Music screens to apply, but be prepared for a steep learning curve to make it shine.
