Problem with multiple artists albums - PacoM - 2019-04-01
Hi everybody,
I'm a fairly new Kodi user and I'm trying to make order in my music library.
I have a strange issue with multiple artists albums, hope I can find help here.
Let's take as example "Laika come home" by Spacemonkeyz vs. Gorillaz. This is the name of the collaboration between two different artists (Spacemonkeyz and Gorillaz).
What I expect to have:
Two album entries in my music library, one for every artist (one for Gorillaz and one for Spacemonkeyz). The album artist should be Spacemonkeyz vs. Gorillaz.
What I did:
I tagged the album with Musicbrainz Picard, here is the screenshot:
What happened:
I can see the album appearing in the Gorillaz list as expected, but instead of having Spacemonkeyz as second artist, I have Spacemonkeyz vs Gorillaz.
I also looked in the album.nfo file, and it shows two artists (Gorillaz and Spacemonkeyz vs Gorillaz). The same with the Artist Information Folder.
I guess editing the album.nfo file should do the trick, but I don't get it... What am I doing wrong?

One problem is that vs. is not recognised as a separator by default. You will need to add that to your advancedsettings.xml file.
See lines 8-14 here... https://kodi.wiki/view/Advancedsettings.xml#musiclibrary Ensure you include spaces either side of vs.
