per-directory view mode ? - te36 - 2019-04-17

Is there a way to indicate the desired view mode of a directory through some file in the directory or the like ?

I have a picture collection with a hierarchical directory structure of ca. 2400 directories, and only the leaf direcotires hold the photos, so it is most convenient to have Wall view for those leaf directories, but WideList for all the other directories - because wideview allows to easily read the long, explanatory subdirectory names.

Going manually through kodi GUI and configuring the view for each of those 2400 directories is a bit of undesired pain, and kodi seems to remember the view config of each directory in some binary database file.

So.. how would i programmatically set up a different view for each directory to achieve the desired outcome ? (still attempting not having to learn kodi python thoug *sigh*...)
