Playlists - Need Two Second Pause Between Files - MidnightWatcher - 2019-04-22

Hi all, I have a question regarding playlists. Is it possible to tell KODI to delay playback of the next video in the list? Instead of playing the next file immediately, I'd like a slight pause of about two seconds. Thanks for your help!

Anyone?

Offhand I don't know of a way. But you could make yourself a short 2-second duration blank video and just play that as every second video in your playlist?

It's not ideal but that approach would work. Where can I make myself a 2-second blank 1080p video (pure black) at 23.976 frames per second? I'll need it to be 23.976 fps so that it doesn't force my projector to resync. What I'm doing is trying to mimic what the CinemaVision add-on did (broken since Kodi 18.1) by manually creating a playlist (a folder with a few movie trailers, followed by an audio format bumper, a home theater intro bumper, and then the feature film). All videos in the playlist are 23.976 fps so that it runs cleanly through to the film.

Edit: Found a 1080p video that contained what I was looking for and trimmed a two second blank portion using Microsoft Photos. I'll give this a shot later today in the playlist. Smile
