"Smart" TV Changes Source at Video Load - wisnoskij - 2019-05-04
Hello all.
I have the weirdest smart TV that makes doing anything with sources like pulling teeth. But by far the biggest issue is that it insists on changing the source back to HDMI1 (my satellite) every time kodi loads any videos.
The TV does not have very many settings, so I doubt their will be anything I can do with it, but I was wondering if kodi had any settings that might ease the transfer into video player mode that my TV is detecting as a device turning off or some such?
I just had the idea while writing this post to switch the inputs to put my kodi device on the, presumably default channel, HDMI1. This seems to me like it will probably fix the symptoms of my current problem, but still wondering if anyone has any insight into the real problem.

Just a brainfart: if CEC is still enabled within Kodi, turn it off.
Also "Adjust display refresh rate" might have an impact.
