all builds are banned need clarification
i am working on a skin that needs pluging like
script.simpleplaylists
script.categories modified
plugin.library.node.editor custom items library widgets
script.skin.helper.widgets
service.library.data.provider

I'm confused.  What has this to do with builds?  Pretty much all skins and tons of addons have dependencies, which seems to be what you're describing.

Builds are considered Kod setups including specific Add-ons (most of them are on our banned list) and also Skins for sure. At least those builds "could" include Skins. As troggy mentioned, that's not related to Skins and if they are using dependencies. And ofc, nearly everything can be installed using dependencies. But as long as those deps are fine, there's no harm using them if your skins needs it.

Some skins do install those deps without any user interaction by installing the skin itself. Other skins (like AeonMQ8) ask for a confirmation that a specific add-on is required and if you want to install it. How you solve that is up to you. Wink
