Add-on could not be loaded - hootie318 - 2019-07-17

I am running LibreElec Kodi on Raspberry Pis 2 and 3. I have one out of five Pis without this problem.

I did a fresh install of the OS on a new sdCard. The first thing I did was install NextPVR add-on. I got an error after installation. I configured the add-on and rebooted. I get and error dialog box stating the addon could not be loaded.

As I mentioned all other PIs work. I have a wired connection. The backend works fine and I can see the webserver app page from inside and outside my network.

If I run an update from the repository menu the add-on starts to run and works fine.

Any suggestions would be great. Also I dont know how to get the logs from a Pi.

To receive meaningful assistance you will need to provide a full debug log.

The instructions are here... debug log (wiki)

If you are using the Basic Method, then ensure the following is applied...
1.Enable debugging in Settings>System Settings>Logging,
2.Restart Kodi
3.Replicate the problem.
4.Upload the log to Kodi Paste Site manually or use the Kodi Logfile Uploader. (wiki) With either method post the link to the log back here.

If you are using the Advanced Method ensure you have correctly created and applied the advancedsettings.xml file (wiki)

In both instances, you should see the word DEBUG throughout the log.

Note: Full logs only. No partial or redacted logs
Do NOT post your logs directly into the forum. Use the Kodi Paste Site. Post the link to your pasted log in the forum

I have no idea if I used pastebin correctly but here is my first try:  https://paste.kodi.tv/fobesobilo.kodi

You are almost there. We need the full log from start to end, not a portion of it. Try again and remember to capture the problem. Lots of emby errors there also making it a more complex log.

Yep, better. Hopefully emveepee will see the problem when he comes online.

Thank you for the help. Really appreciate it.

I'd confirm that you have the correct IP.

2018-06-22 06:12:00.616 T:1787974512 INFO: easy_acquire - Created session to http://192.168.1.11
2018-06-22 06:12:00.617 T:1787974512 ERROR: CCurlFile::FillBuffer - Failed: Couldn't connect to server(7)

I see that you also have some troubles initially connecting to emby on a different server.  I would make sure LE is configured to use
"Wait for network before starting Kodi"

The server is a static IP. I will check the "wait for network". It would be great if that was all it was. I will report back.

Thanks

Several tests and it seems like that's the issue. I feel like crawling under a tech rock but great that's what it was.

No need to crawl under a rock.  That's one of those "obvious once you know about it" settings that I kind of wish was enabled by default given how much Kodi depends on a functioning network.
