Exactly how do I do this please?

Many thanks
I believe they have all been moved over to the VideoDevil plugin.

sfaxman...

This is actually working for me on ATV! Note to my fellow ATV testers - be sure to delete any .pyo files after replacing a .py file. I'm brand new to ATV, xbmc and python so I don't know if this is a python thing, an XBMC thing or an ATV thing but it seems python compiles the script to a .pyo file and stops reading the .py.

Kudos to Evil Elvis and of course sfaxman Smile I'll give a try to the latest repo versions next.

Edit: tried the downloads and they work! Awesome Smile

Yes, same here Smile
Thanks to jtatum, pointing out that the .pyo file needs to be deleted, it works now, the monkey and the devil are happy and so am I!

Randy.

Request for additional streams - cowlumbus - 2009-02-05

Hey sfaxman,
You made my day with this script! It's pretty sweet to be able to stream German and Swiss TV on my Xbox running XBMC! Unfortunately, I don't know enough about RegEx programming, so I was wondering whether you could look into adding the following streams to the VideoMonkey plug-in...

Vielen herzlichen Dank im voraus! Big Grin

TV Streams:
- Schweizer Fernsehen (http://www.sf.tv/var/videos.php), namely "Tagesschau Hauptausgabe"

I would love to see CurrentTV integrated into this plugin. Some great original programing over there. I will certainly give it a go myself, but i'm not expecting much in terms of results. aha

Hi sfaxman,

I'd like to thank you for finally adding fxguide tv! Cool
But there seems to be a little episode offset kind of bug. Instead of episode 1 there comes episode 2 and instead of episode 2, episode 3 appears and so on.

And do you think, it would be possible to add AdobeTV support too? Rolleyes

deleted and pasted into the other, official thread.

Freezes upon closing stream? - mikey79 - 2009-02-19

Wow, what a great plugin this is!!!! Since I don't have cable, we always watch television via the channel's websites and this is such a great contribution to xbmc...

Unfortunately, very often xbmc freezes when a stream ends or when I stop its playing. I use xbmc under Linux and downloaded the plugin's current version from last night (1.25). Maybe someone experiences the same problems and has a fix for me?

@sfaxman: some time ago last year, you mentioned you are planning to include the german channel 'RTL' into the supported options. Unfortunately this has not happened yet. Are you still planning on doing it? Otherwise with some small tutorial the community could help you out a lot, as it seems a lot of people have a lot of channels they wish to be included Smile

Anyone having trouble with dailymotion none of the videos will show up?

I have to apologize. This happened when I disabled pulse. Once I compiled XBMC with pulse included, all worked well :-)

However, what about 'RTL' Rofl

- ozzieguy - 2009-02-21

Thank you coredalae I'll see if I can find it.

- sfaxman - 2009-02-21

Hi guys,

sorry for the delayed response. I worked last time on another project.
I see many sites need an update. All sites will be fixed ASAP Nod
... And XBMC has now some very nice new features Nerd and the plugin will profit from them. They will improve the plugin a lot Big GrinBig GrinBig Grin

mikey79 Wrote:...However, what about 'RTL' Rofl

I cannot yet play the rtmp streams from RTLNow. See this.

Bye,
sfaxman...

Can anyone confirm whether the latest SVN build of XBMC (17926) works with the latest build from 'xbmc-addons' (651)?

I've had mine working 3 weeks ago or so, but at some point (after some update of XBMC) pretty much every plugin that does the streaming (CNN, VideoMonkey, AppleShowtime) just stopped working.

I'm running XBMC-Linux under Ubuntu Hardy 8.04.2.

So, can someone confirm that the latest (or one of the latest - within last week or so) builds of XBMC-Linux works with the latest (or one of the latest - within 1 months of so) builds of VideoMonkey?

Thanks,

Vlad
