@Bootsy: In the old plugin, "Sendungen" would list all shows in one list which was very convenient. I realize this is too much to ask for because the new version of the Mediathek breaks the "all shows" list down into sections ("A-C" etc.) so the complete list would have to be assembled from all sections. And this, I am reasonably sure, will not be possible without adding some Python code.
I actually like the new first page when you select TV-ZDF Mediathek. It seems to be something like a "most popular" selection. The "Sorting" entry allows you to select from "Tips", "Aktuellste" and "Meist Gesehen". "Categories" is fine. I was only irritated when I selected "Sendungen A-Z" and saw a list that ended around the letter "D". I see now how it works. "Sorting" selects a different display criteria or selection, and the first one (?) is always pre-selected and immediately shown. I would expect "Sorting" to re-order an existing list and not generate a new one, though, and would name this function perhaps "Select" or "Display". This is only semantics of course and once you know how it works it does the job either way.
In the case of "Sendungen A-Z", it would help if the next level down would not show the list behind "A-C" but the list of sections "A-C", "D-F" and so on, so what is right now displayed after selecting "Sorting". Don't know if such an exception to the scheme is easily possible, however.

i just tried to make it like they did on their website...

New zdf plugin - funkytown - 2009-11-25
Its great to see that someone has taken over administration of the videomonkey code.Its still one of the plugins most useful to me.
While the ZDF portion of the plugin was broken, i made a new plugin specifically for ZDF-Mediathek.
If you're interested you can read more in my post here.
These are some of its advantages:
- Its a little bit faster than the monkey here, because it parses xml-files instead of full-blown html pages.
- Thumbnails are higher resolution.
- Besides WMV you can play videos in h.264 RTSP streams which look nicer IMO.
- Videos can be sorted by date.
- A Description of the video can be displayed via the context menu.

when i start a .flv stream nothing happens.
.wmv streams works.
What can i do?

May there be a dependency between the scripts and the OS. I'm still on a quite old Xbox, however with the latest T3CH XBMC built.
As the XBox starts struggleing with HD movies would it be time to switch to a more powerful device (ARM, ATOM good enough)?

computer club² is working on my windows build, so it should also work with the latest t3ch build.
try episode 37...very old videos arent on their servers anymore.

yup, more powerful devices are needed then...but no idea about it. i´m using a non-xbmc device for hd movies

i am using the latest xbmc pvr branch. thus this includes the new addon structure. i made a description.xml for this addon.
i tried this addon but it failes with the dialog box "no network connection" or similar. additionally i get in the right corner the message scripting error. in the log i get the following script error:

After reading a lot of the 54 pages i'm still not sure if videomonkey helps me to watch content of the zdf and/or ard mediathek on my "open" atv?!
i already run xbmc, but how can i install the videomonkey plugin on the atv?
