Recently, I watched this called Face-Off starring Nicolas cage. It was a very underappreciated movie.

'The Big Picture' for me.

RE: Your Favorite Underappreciated Movie? - Video Titles - 2020-02-19

I am bored and wanted to blow this thread up again. My favourite unsung movie has to be Combat Academy https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0090865/?ref_=nv_sr_srsg_0

However, I am going to go deep and say that the most under rated movies are the ones that you have not watched yet.

I have my set up based on random movies in different genres, I sometimes find a movie that contains maybe a favourite actor and also a genre that I like, but I never have seen before, such as Wesley Snipes a 2007 movie called The Contractor https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0770806/?ref_=nv_sr_srsg_0

However, you cannot beat the classics such as Sharknado 1,2,3,4,5 and Mega Python.

For me there's just not enough time in this life, I'm busy watching Alfred Hitchcock atm The Glass Eye S03E01 includes a very young William Shatter.

A movie that I have never seen if you mean Hitchcock starring Anthony Hopkins. A lot of good movies from him as a director such as the birds and not forgetting pyscho.

A true era of movie making, where a story was more important than CGI

Actually it's the TV series nice'n short, a lot of great story's on par with the first twilight zones with actors before their rise to infamy.

Critics are smart and experienced, good-tasting people who have reviewed almost every movie in this world. But films are made not only for them, otherwise movie studios would have gone broke long ago. And the opinions of critics and ordinary viewers sometimes differ greatly.

Equilibrium (2002) - The dramatic fantasy action movie was accused of trying to copy the best films of this genre, although it turned out stupid and too aggressive. But now it is one of the cult films.
