Whatever changes you made with subversion 'j' when you've added support for the Music Genres, has also totally cleared the issue I was experiencing with my pre-defined Movie and Tv Show channels. Been running the guide all morning and everything back to how it should be.
I don't have any music installed on this machine, but will try get some to test the music genres with.
Tried to reply to you but your mailbox is full and it wouldn't go through.

Thank you,

Navigate to repositories, bring up context menu... select "Force Update".

As for your other channels log doesn't indicate an issue... Still not working?
There's something going on with TV Channels. Just tried deleting the iptvsimple and pseutotv addondata folders and epgdb to fresh start. Then selected only the TV Channels (no music genre). The result is the same (nothing shows up at the TV Guide) and I noticed the xmltv and m3u files only heave the "header" without any other content inside then.

Here are the logs: https://paste.kodi.tv/eperajojuk.kodi

Then I kept the TV channels from the previous test and selected only one music channel with for the "Hard Rock" genre (I downloaded a small mp3 library just for this test and only have those 2 genres for now). Same result as before. No TV Channels EPG and the Radio guide shows the Hard Rock channel but it does nothing when I try to play or "switch" to it.

Logs of this second test: https://paste.kodi.tv/fowikehito.kodi
xmltv of the second test: https://paste.kodi.tv/wucuxoxuho.kodi
m3u of the second test: https://paste.kodi.tv/bitakaveyi.kodi

It looks like your Kodi library query's are coming back empty... Has your setup/ shares changed recently?

Do you currently have content on/available to Kodi?

I'll check on my end, however not much has changed in that regard.
Nothing changed on my setup/shares. I reverted back to version h and pseudotv worked again. Then updated and it stopped to build TV Channels again. Tried a clean install and it's showing the same behavior.

I'll keep trying to find out what I'm doing wrong here, maybe there's some firewall issue or memory/harddisk failing...

reverting work? that's odd... I'll check your logs again.

If it helps, I was able to register a log with a lot of JSON requests errors: https://paste.kodi.tv/utunuxidod.kodi

EDIT: Updated to last kodi nightly build and the issue is gone. TV is working as before and music channels are playing fine.

Thanks for the help and, again, sorry about the trouble.

Lunatixz,

Sometime overnight I was upgraded to Rev. K.

Am trying now. I have added two music genres to my channels. They do not show up.

Trying to open the Playlist editor from within PTVL send me back to the Kodi main screen.

Also, if I may ask. I went to the Videos node in Kodi to try and find out how to create and edit a playlist. I was not able to figure it out. Is there an updated Playlist editor wiki somewhere?

Those features haven't been activated yet... I'll announce when User-Defined channels are available.

Music works, Nodes, and playlists don't...

However, music requires the criteria to be met.... I'm looking into producing better genre matching... for now if a genre doesn't build a channel, try another one Smile

My music genre channels are created fine.I select one channel, plays the first song but when the first song ends, second song never starts.Even if I move forward to the guide to select another song,it justs plays the first song again and again.I tried both versions(pvr, playlist) with no success.

Thanks
