Raspberry Pi crashing when opening a picture - Jeff4711 - 2019-09-04

Hello!

We are using a Raspberry Pi 3 with Kodi, aiming to use it together with a projector for an artinstallation. We are able to open a video, but every time we try to open a picture from thumbnail it crashes and then reboots. How can we resolve this problem? We have tried to look through every thread we have found, but have not seen anything that so far has helped us. Very grateful for any help at all.

We also wonder how we can achieve a smooth overlap when using repeat for a video. As it is now there is a short but very distinctive cut between the end and the beginning of the video when looping it. Anyway to fix that at allHuh

Many thanks for your time!

No logs, no answer, I guess

To receive meaningful assistance you will need to provide a full debug log.

The instructions are here... debug log (wiki)

If you are using the Basic Method, then ensure the following is applied...
1.Enable debugging in Settings>System Settings>Logging,
2.Restart Kodi
3.Replicate the problem.
4.Upload the log to Kodi Paste Site manually or use the Kodi Logfile Uploader. (wiki) With either method post the link to the log back here.

If you are using the Advanced Method ensure you have correctly created and applied the advancedsettings.xml file (wiki)

In both instances, you should see the word DEBUG throughout the log.

Note: Full logs only. No partial or redacted logs
Do NOT post your logs directly into the forum. Use the Kodi Paste Site. Post the link to your pasted log in the forum
