request ability to copy/paste into user interface dialogues - oldgranola - 2019-09-28
Hello, currently using Kodi 18.4 20190906 (via flatpack) on Linux Mint cinnamon, also Manjaro linux.
With this and older versions of Kodi we cannot paste into user dialogue boxes. For example, adding a source in the file manager I have to type it out rather than pasting a path. Same for any other user dialogue boxes where a user needs to enter text. Can we not ever change that? Very long standing issue, would seem like a no-brainer to want to solve.

Send a Pull-Request that creates the infrastructure for all 5 platforms and this no-brainer can easily be merged.
