Is there still an Xbox 360 app? - Red5ive - 2019-10-04
Hi there
Been looking to replace my Windows Media Center setup which has an old Xbox 360 in the bedroom as an extender/streamer.
Googling around I see that there was at some point an official app for Xbox 360 as well as Xbox one but it no longer seems to be available on the 360 store.
Is there still an official way to use a 360 with Kodi?
If not is there an unofficial one? :-)

Would the 360 no be to slow?, as for the xbox one, total garbage, never got it to play one film ever, just does not work.

There has never been a Kodi version for Xbox360

You may want to give the Xbox One another go, I started mine up today and updated the dashboard then Kodi to 18.4 and all but one movie I started up worked fine. The movie that didn't play smoothly was a pretty compressed 4k file (8gb file size). I rarely fire up my Xbox as I have two shield TV's that do all the streaming in the house so i have no idea when this latest update came around.
