Setting up Kodi to server video to clients - haqinai - 2019-10-12
I have Kodi running on a server and need to know how to get the web service to display videos so that the streaming can be done on the client by using a web interface to access the Kodi data on the server.
I'm new to Kodi and hope I am making sense.

Kodi was designed as a media center client application, and not to be a media streamer or e.g. a security cam server.
The only server part it has is UPnP functionality of locally scraped source videos.
For purely serving videos, I think more dedicated software is necessary.
