Kodi with Apple Remote with OS X Catalina - gusdevices - 2019-10-25
The Apple Remote does not work anymore with OS X Catalina.
They were the same issue with VLC ant it has been fixed (available soon on the 3.09 version).
I made also a modification in my own Apple Remote utility.
In Catalina the "cookie strings" of the remote keys are different than the previous OS X. (This was already different between Leopard and previous Leopard OS).

no problems here with the silver apple remote on OS X Catalina and Mojave.
your problem must be somewhere else.

Thanks for your feedback. Updating with version 18.4 works fine now (I used 16.x)
